Prof. Dr Caroline Heil is a professor of social work at IU – International University of Applied Sciences, as well as a lecturer on the social work and early years education degree programmes at other universities. She is a child protection specialist (in accordance with Sections 8a and 8b of Book VIII of the Social Code) and has worked as a social education family support worker. She is also a Senior Research Fellow at the Witten Institute for Family Businesses, where she completed her PhD on the topic of ‘Child resilience in entrepreneurial families’.
