Dr. hum. biol. Michael Petery obtained his doctorate at the medical faculty of LMU Munich after studying theology. He heads the Academy for Psychotherapy and Sex Therapy (AKST) and works in his psychotherapy practice (in accordance with the German Heilpraktikergesetz, or Heilpraktiker Act) primarily in the field of sex therapy and sexual delinquency.
